Eight runners, 51 laps: the AKB sponsored run
Eight of us took part in the sponsored run held by AKB, Mehrgenerationenhaus Linde and Lebenshilfe Kirchheim – 51 laps for a good cause.
No drum this time, running shoes instead: eight of our runners took part in the AKB sponsored run through the centre of Kirchheim. It was organised by the AKB, the Mehrgenerationenhaus Linde and Lebenshilfe Kirchheim, as a circuit run for people with and without disabilities – and every lap run earned a donation of €1 for their work.
Our result according to the certificate: 51 laps, 51,000 metres, €51. At 1.2 km per lap it should really have been 61.2 km – we are happy to give those ten kilometres to the good cause.
