Cancellations and postponements due to COVID-19
The spring concert and the 2020 anniversary weekend are cancelled; a belated anniversary celebration is planned for June 2021.
Dear visitors, friends and supporters of the Musikverein Bissingen/Teck e.V.,
Sadly, today we too must officially let you know how the coronavirus pandemic is affecting our anniversary year, and about the cancellations of our events that come with it. The spring concert planned for 9 May 2020, featuring a piece specially commissioned by us, unfortunately cannot take place until further notice. We will let you know about a new date in good time through the usual channels and media.
We are likewise forced to cancel our long-planned anniversary weekend from 3 to 5 July 2020. In doing so we are not only complying with the latest regulations to contain the pandemic, but also acting responsibly to protect the health of our members, our helpers and, not least, our audience.
But the long and intensive period of preparation should not have been in vain. We would like to give you, our valued audience, a hopeful look ahead and invite you today to our belated anniversary celebration in the 101st year of our existence, from 18 to 20 June 2021.
We ask for your understanding of these measures in this exceptional situation. Stay healthy, and stay fond of your Musikverein Bissingen!
