Open Youth Band rehearsal
On 6 October 2023 at 17:50: a public rehearsal of the Youth Band at the Farrenstall – try out all the instruments, ask questions.
On 6 October 2023 there is a public Youth Band rehearsal for all interested children, young people and their parents!
Have you always wanted to know how your favourite instrument sounds in an orchestra, or how a rehearsal actually works?
Then just come along at 17:50 – with your parents, if you like – to our rehearsal room, the Farrenstall (Pfarrstraße 16 in Bissingen, rear entrance), and get a taste of our Youth Band, with no obligation.
At the same time you can try out all the instruments, ask questions about lessons and find out more about your teachers.
You can also reach our lessons coordinator Liz Geiger at any time by e-mail at Email address (visible with JavaScript).
We asked our young musicians: why do you enjoy making music at the Musikverein Bissingen so much?
- “I see my friends regularly at rehearsals.”
- “I think the trips and the rehearsal weekend are great!”
- “I feel important and taken seriously.”
- “I know some of the pieces we play from the radio, and they’re fun to play.”
- “Here everyone can be just the way they are. I like that!”
- “Even when I haven’t had time to practise, my conductor understands.”
- “I can still have other hobbies besides music.”
We’ll find the right instrument for you too! Sign up yourself and your best friend for a free instrument taster session: Email address (visible with JavaScript).
