Open rehearsal of the Main Band on 13 October

A truly lucky day, this Friday the 13th – at least for everyone who has always wanted to drop in on a Main Band rehearsal.

Did you know

• … that in recent years many musicians have joined us who only learned an instrument as adults?
• … that we offer interesting ways back in for people returning to music?
• … that you can also simply play with us for a single project?
• … that making music keeps you young and you are never too old to learn an instrument?

All good reasons to come to the Main Band’s open rehearsal on 13 October 2023 at 21:00 in our rehearsal room, the Farrenstall (Pfarrstraße 16, Bissingen). You can watch how our conductor Matthias works, see what part each instrument plays in our orchestra, and listen to find out whether our music gives you as much joy as it gives us. From 22:00 we look forward to good conversation in a relaxed setting at the Farrenstall bar, over a game of Binokel or table football. Just drop by, no strings attached – we look forward to seeing you.

If you can’t make it that day or still have questions, you are always welcome to get in touch with our lessons coordinator Liz Geiger: Email address (visible with JavaScript).

From the flyer

“We’ve only just moved to Bissingen. So where do you meet nice people around here?”

“A club always means such a commitment, and so much else that goes with it …”

“I played an instrument as a teenager; then there was no time any more. Now I’d like to again, but I don’t know how to start …”

At the Musikverein Bissingen there are a number of musicians who only started learning an instrument as adults. Make that wish come true – we’ll help you! We rehearse every Friday from 20:00 to 22:00 at Pfarrstraße 16 (rear entrance). Just drop by!

We have two concerts a year and around three performances at festivals. For us, the fun of the music and of being with friends in the club comes first! For people returning to music we offer an attractive coaching scheme.
